Welcome. My mission as “the Natural Health Maven” and founder of Nourish Natural Health Ayurveda is to not only make my own life better but to share insights, knowledge, and information with you that can improve your health and transform your life.My passion is to provide education, support and natural therapies to those that want to take their health and their life to a higher and deeper level, witnessing their own innate healing wisdom within.Martha has been a Registered Nurse for over 19 years with a clinical background in Community Health Nursing. She has practiced as a Holistic Nurse in private practice for most of her nursing career. Prior to this she coached clients with their nutritional health goals as a Certified Nutritional Specialist.
As a holistic nurse Martha has been inspiring, coaching, and supporting others for 19 years. As a professional and practitioner in the field of natural health, Ayurveda, energy medicine, and integrated nutrtion since 1991, she combines her extensive training, intuition, and empathic skills to create a unique, specialized, comprehensive experience and plan of care for the body, mind, and spirit of her clients. As an Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner Martha began her studies at Kripalu Center and has studied with leading experts such as John Douillard, DC of Lifespa, Boulder, Colorado and Dr. Robert Svoboda. She continues her ongoing Ayurvedic studies, and Panch Karma training in the Gurukula Program with Drs. Light and Bryan Miller, at Light Institute of Ayurveda in Sarasota, Florida. She is a member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association.
Martha has been a recognized teacher and speaker in the field of Energy Medicine, Holistic Health, and Alternative and Natural Therapies in the United States and Canada. She received certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Educator from Kripalu Center in Lenox, MA. She is a Certified Healng Touch Practitioner and Healing Touch Instructor. She is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association. She has studied numerous other modalities including Tama-do with Fabian Maman and The Sacred Rings with Norm Shealy, MD.
